What was you favourite part of the day and what did you learn?
The children spent a great day being real life Tudors at Barley Hall. They wore traditional costumes and took part in a variety of activities including quill writing, soap making and taking part in an actual Tudor time lesson. Dining in the Great Hall was brilliant.
What was you favourite part of the day and what did you learn?

My favourite part of the day was when we were writing with the ink quills and trying to guess what stuff were used for. I also enjoyed lunch because I sat on the higher up table with Harriet , Ellie and flossie and pretended to boss everyone about. If you sit on the higher up table it means you are the most important then on the right are the people like the butler the servants would sit on the left. At the back there would be a potty man. This man is there because it is rude to leave the table in the middle of a lesson so if a man needed the toilet he could go. Ladies however just had to hold on.

i enjoyed the school part it was really fun and i would go again. Also i enjoyed the set out of the house. my favourite room was probley the dinning room. the dinning room went so high up to show that the owner of the house was really rich. i would have made lots more rooms as you had lots of spare rooms.

What I really liked about Barley hall was that you could dress up as a Tudor and make soap. As well, I liked writing with the ink quills.

I enjoyed getting into the costumes ,but I would not like to wear them every day because they were really uncofetable.
